Aaliyah´s record company cannot sue the video producers that booked the death flight - 2007-01-31
Aaliyah's label won´t be able to sue the video producer who booked the private jet that killed the singer when it crashed in the Bahamas. The New York Court said that only Aaliyah´s parents have the right to make a sue for her tragical death. In this way, the Manhattan appeals court reversed its June 2004 decision, which had allowed the label to file a sue.
